Ed Sheeran Pauses Gurugram Concert To Help Fainting Fan, Wins Hearts With Moment Of Empathy
British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran paused his performance mid-song when he spotted a fan fainting in the crowd.

New Delhi: Ed Sheeran's amazing performance in Gurugram on February 15, 2025, at Leisure Valley Park, closed the Indian leg of his Mathematics tour. Nonetheless, the spotlight was really stolen by Sheeran's act of empathy.
Ed Sheeran saw a fan fainting in the audience as he was performing ‘Happier’. He didn't think twice about stopping the event and calling for help right away. Ordering the authorities to respond to the fan, he appealed from the stage, “Ohh, there is someone who just fainted in the crowd... Please give some space to the person to breathe.”
He told the security detail to make sure the fan got the treatment she needed and requested the audience to keep him informed of her progress. "Please give me a thumbs up if everything is okay," the British singer asked.

Much to the joy of the audience, Ed Sheeran got back on stage after a short break and resumed his performance with excitement. Sheeran's empathy and connection with his fans made the concert an unforgettable end to a great tour.
The atmosphere was electric when Ed Sheeran returned to the stage donning a Team India shirt with Delhi written on it, evoking raucous applause from his admirers.

"The last three weeks in India have been magical. I've learnt a lot. Thank you for welcoming me," Ed Sheeran shared, adding that he would be returning soon.
Ed Sheeran visited six cities in India—Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Shillong—as part of his Mathematics (+—= ÷ x ) Tour 2025. He has played several times in Mumbai since 2015, but he purposefully picked towns outside of that city for this trip.
