Babil Khan Approached For Bigg Boss 19 After Viral Breakdown? Here’s What We Know

Babil Khan was reportedly approached to join Bigg Boss 19 following a viral video and remarks about Bollywood’s inner circle.

Bigg Boss 19, the latest season of India’s most-watched reality show, is already stirring major buzz months ahead of its expected July 2025 premiere. With Salman Khan set to return as host, the upcoming season is rumoured to be the longest ever, possibly stretching over six months, until January 2026. Now, in a new and surprising update, Bigg Boss makers have reportedly approached none other than Babil Khan, son of the late legendary actor Irrfan Khan, to join the controversial house.

According to a report in Siasat Daily, Babil Khan was approached soon after a recent incident sparked widespread conversation across social media. The young actor, who has been carving his niche in the industry, went viral after posting a deeply emotional video on May 4. In the clip, he opened up about feeling isolated in the film fraternity.

In the now-deleted video, Babil took names like Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Arjun Kapoor, and even Arijit Singh. The clip, which quickly spread across platforms, saw the actor tearfully express his struggle with loneliness in the industry.

Later, Babil’s team issued a clarification stating that the footage had been "manipulated" and taken out of context. They further reassured fans that Babil was doing fine and that his words were being widely misinterpreted.

Despite the clarification, the buzz seems to have caught the attention of the Bigg Boss producers, who are reportedly eyeing Babil as one of the key contestants for the upcoming season. Known for roping in controversial and talked-about personalities, the reality show seems to be continuing that tradition.

While there is no official confirmation yet from Babil or the show’s creators, the news has piqued curiosity among fans. If confirmed, this would mark Babil Khan’s debut in the reality TV space.

Bigg Boss 19, produced by Endemol Shine India and broadcast on Colors TV, is expected to shoot its promo by the end of June.
