In an interview with Zoom, while promoting his upcoming film 'Bandaa Singh Chaudhary', Arbaaz spoke about the tense atmosphere within the family.

"We are doing fine. I wouldn't say that we are doing absolutely alright because there is a lot happening right now, in the family. Of course, everyone is worried. But I am committed to promoting Bandaa Singh Chaudhary. It's my film releasing on October 25 and I've to make sure that the film also goes out. Yes, there's a lot happening but I've to do what I've to do," he said.

He also touched on Salman’s safety. Salman is reportedly a target on Lawrence Bishnoi's 'hit list,' which also includes names of other public figures like comedians, politicians, and rival gang members.

Discussing how the family is taking precautions, Arbaaz shared, “No, it is true. I wouldn't say we are all okay right now but we are trying to do what we can do the best. We are ensuring that everybody, along with the government and the police, is making sure that things go the way they should, and, he's (Salman) protected. Everyone is doing their best. We want to stay this way right now."

Salman Khan shared a strong friendship with Baba Siddique and was a regular at his popular Eid gatherings. He was among the first to visit the hospital after hearing the tragic news.

About Baba Siddique’s murder

Last week, Baba Siddique, aged 66, was shot and killed by three assailants in the Nirmal Nagar area of Mumbai, just outside his son Zeeshan Siddique's office. Despite being rushed to Lilavati Hospital, Siddique was pronounced dead upon arrival. His funeral took place on Sunday.

Baba Siddique's killers have claimed ties to the notorious Bishnoi gang, whose leader, Lawrence Bishnoi, is currently imprisoned in Sabarmati Jail, Gujarat. This is the same gang believed to have fired shots near Salman Khan’s residence earlier this year.
