New Delhi: 'AP Dhillon: First of a Kind', a new docuseries on the Canadian Punjabi singer, was released on Prime Video India. The premiere  of the series held in Mumbai on Wednesday evening was a star-studded affair. After the release, most of the reactions were positive as Twitter users complimented the docuseries on how it chronicles the singer’s journey.

AP Dhillon or Amritpal Singh Dhillon was born into a Sikh family on January 10, 1993, in Amritsar, Punajb. He has studied civil engineering from Baba Kuma Singh Ji Engineering College, Hoshiar Nagar affiliated with Punjab Technical University in Amritsar.

Dhillon pursued a diploma in business administration and management from Camosun College in British Columbia and has been settled in Canada. AP Dhillon started his career in 2019 with the singles ‘Fake’ and ‘Faraar’. In 2020, his single ‘Deadly’, produced by Gminxr entered the UK Asian chart published by the Official Charts Company and peaked at number 11.

'AP Dhillon: First of a Kind' was released on August 18 on Prime Video. At a special screening of the series, Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh came out in support of the Punjabi singer.
