Actor Anushka Sharma recently took a weekend getaway to Alibaug with her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli. However, early Monday morning, she was spotted returning to Mumbai alone, with Virat notably absent.

Anushka Sharma returns to Mumbai

Anushka opted for a chic, casual look in white trousers paired with a sleek black T-shirt and black sunglasses. With her hair left open, Anushka exuded effortless elegance as she sat on the speedboat, creating a picture-perfect morning vibe.

A video circulating on social media shows Anushka swiftly entering a hotel near the Gateway of India. Although greeted cheerfully with a "good morning" by photographers, she initially hurried past them. However, she later acknowledged their presence with a quick "thank you" gesture, signaling them to stop clicking pictures.

Virat Kohli’s newly-built home in Alibaug

In 2023, reports revealed that Virat Kohli spent a staggering Rs 6 crore on a luxurious 2,000 sq. ft. villa in Avas Living, Alibaug, with a stamp duty payment of Rs 36 lakh. The property also boasts a 400 sq. ft. swimming pool. Renowned interior designer Suzanne Khan, daughter of actor Sanjay Khan, reportedly designed the villa's interiors. Additionally, Virat and his wife, Anushka Sharma, reportedly purchased a farmhouse in Alibaug for Rs 19.24 crore.

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli first met during an ad shoot in 2013 and kept their relationship under wraps before tying the knot in a private ceremony in Italy in 2017. The couple welcomed their daughter, Vamika, in January 2021 and their son in February 2024.

On the professional front, Anushka has been on a break from acting since her 2018 film ‘Zero’. She is now set to return with ‘Chakda Xpress’, a biopic on cricket legend Jhulan Goswami, marking her much-anticipated comeback to the big screen.
