New Delhi: Adah Sharma, who was last seen in 'The Kerala Story', has reacted to the reports of buying late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s residence at Mont Blanc Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai. Adah told the media that she hasn’t finalised any decision yet on the apartment. There were reports doing the rounds that the actress is buying the house where Sushant Singh Rajput lived till he passed away in June 2020. There were also a media report stating that the actress' team has confirmed the news.
Adah responded to the reports and told the paparazzi, “Phele jo bhi hai woh first mein aapko bataungi. Jabhi jo hai, I promise, aap logo ka mooh main meetha karunga, agar kuch hai toh (if anything gets finalised I will tell you first. I will bring sweets if there is something).”
Last year in December, there were reports that after Sushant's death, getting a tenant for the house had become very difficult. Popular real-estate agent Rafique Merchant had said that buyers are showing more interest in the property than tenants. Rafique had told ETimes, "Surprisingly, I am getting a lot of calls from buyers. They want to buy the apartment outright. There are a lot of investors who want to buy it. But the owner just doesn’t want to sell it."
He had also told Bollywood Hungama that it took three years to secure tenants for the property after the actor’s death.
Adah Sharma saw the biggest hit of her career in her last film 'The Kerala Story'. The controversial film collected Rs 242 crore at the domestic box office.
The actress will soon start working in an international production. Aadah will play the role of a female superhero in the film.
"I've always found female superheroes very cool and all I can say is yes I'm playing one now and I can't wait to share more stuff about it soon. Action is a genre I really enjoy being part of. I like to try different genres, varied roles and I'm lucky people are thinking of me for different characters. After 'The Kerala Story', I thought this would be very different. I like to talk about a project only when I come out with a trailer for it. Until then, I'm a little superstitious. (I will share) more on this soon," she had said in a statement.
