New Delhi: The teaser of the Amazon Original series ‘Breathe: Into the Shadows Season 2’ was released on Friday. Reprising their roles, the Amazon Original series stars Abhishek Bachchan, Amit Sadh, Nithya Menen, Saiyami Kher, Ivana Kaur, with Naveen Kasturia joining the sequel in a pivotal role.
Abhishek Bachchan also posted the teaser on his social media account. He wrote, “Four down. Six to go. The shadows are about to turn darker. #BreatheIntoTheShadows, new season, Nov 9.”
The teaser, gives glimpses of previous seasons. Amitabh Bachchan is back to save his family, and Amit Sadh is back to stop the murderer. The text on the screen says, “mystery goes deeper, the shadows get darker”. There were four killings in the previous season and there are six more on target of the killer.
The 27-second teaser leaves some perplexing questions - ‘Will Ravana get to the remaining 6 victims? Will Kabir be able to stop the murders? How far will Avinash go to save his family?’
Produced by Abundantia Entertainment and Vikram Malhotra, the second installment of the show promises to be a gripping thriller that entails a complex mind game continuing from the events of Season 1.
Written by Mayank Sharma, Vikram Tuli, Arshad Syed, Priya Saggi, and Abhijeet Deshpande, the series is directed by Mayank Sharma and was shot in Delhi and Mumbai.
The show stars Abhishek as a psychologist. Amit Sadh plays the police officer assigned to crack a case and Nithya Menen plays Abhishek’s wife.
The official logline of the series is, “The chase is on again. Only this time, it’s not just a battle. It’s psychological warfare.”

Earlier, Abhishek while speaking to Indian Express had talked about the success of the season one of ‘Breathe: Into the Shadows.’ “It was so heartening to see all the love the show was getting and reading about it on social media. It was very encouraging,” he was quoted as saying by Indian Express.
