'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' Box Office Collection Day 1: The Film Is Kartik Aryan’s Biggest Opener

New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu starrer 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' was released in theatres on May 20. As expected the horror-comedy has brought good news for Bollywood as it had a fantastic day one at the box office and has emerged as Kartik Aryan’s biggest opener.
The film collected Rs. 14.11 crore surpassing the first-day collection of Kartik’s 'Love Aaj Kal' which had collected Rs. 12 crore on its opening day. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the box office figures of the film. He wrote, “#BhoolBhulaiyaa2 brings JOY, gives HOPE, boosts MORALE, revives BIZ... Silences NAYSAYERS, who wrote obituaries of #Bollywood after a string of flops... FANTASTIC Day 1, despite *low ticket pricing*... Emerges #KartikAaryan's BIGGEST OPENER... The Anees Bazmee directorial is also the biggest opener of 2022 among the films from Bollywood. It is expected to break the dry spell of the Hindi film industry with its earnings. Lately, South Indian films like 'RRR', 'KGF: Chapter 2' and 'Pushpa' are doing wonders at the box office pan India while Bollywood films are being rejected by the movie-goers.
'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' is expected to bring more people back to the theatre in the coming days. The film is a sequel to Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan's very successful film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'. The legacy of its prequel can also be one of the reasons for the good response that the film is getting.
While the film received mixed reviews from critics, Tabu and Kartik Aryan’s performances are praised by everyone.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aryan took to social media to repost a story of a fan who recorded the audience's reaction during a scene featuring Kartik. As soon as the actor gets into his Rooh Baba costume in the clip, the audience in the theatre went berserk and started clapping and whistling. Kartik thanked them saying, "Finally Claps and Whistles. Its so heartening.”
Kartik will next be seen in ‘Shehzada’, ‘Captain India’, ‘Freddy’, and Sajid Nadiadwala's untitled next.
