Aryan Khan Drug Case: No Evidence SRK's Son Was Part Of Conspiracy, Finds NCB’s SIT
SIT team says that it has found no evidence to prove that Aryan Khan was a part of larger drug conspiracy contrary to allegations by the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB).
The latest update in Aryan Khan's high-profile drug case is that the Special Investigation Team(SIT) has found no evidence that Shah Rukh Khan's son was part of a larger drugs conspiracy or an international drugs trafficking syndicate.
According to SIT officials, there were several irregularities in the raid on the yacht Cordelia during which Aryan was arrested on October 3,2021. Along with Aryan, his friends- Arbaaz Merchant & Munmun Dhamecha and 17 others were also arrested.
An NCB team had busted an alleged drugs party on the Cordelia Cruise ship which was on its way to Goa at mid-sea on October 2 night.
After spending more than 20 days in jail, Aryan Khan and others were granted bail but the star-kid was asked to mark his attendance every Friday at NCB office.
An SIT team was then set up to look into the case which now says that it has found no evidence to prove that Aryan Khan was a part of larger drug conspiracy contrary to allegations by the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB).
SIT officials further said that since Aryan Khan was never in possession of drugs hence there was no need to take his phone and check his chats. The SIT probe is not complete yet and could further take a couple of months before it submits its final report to NCB Director General S N Pradhan. A legal opinion will be taken before the final decision, particularly on the aspect whether Khan can be charged for consumption even though he was not carrying any drugs , said one of the SIT officers.
