Alia-Ranbir Wedding Recreated In Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10; Neetu Kapoor Appreciates, Fans Not So Much

Niti Taylor and choreographer Akash Thapa did a special performance dedicated to Ranbir and Alia. They depicted the romance between the two actors and even recreated their wedding

New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's wedding by far is the most covered and popular Bollywood weddings of the year. The popularity of their wedding is such that it was recreated at the Kapoor special episode in 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' Season 10 where Neetu Kapoor was the special guest. Niti Taylor and choreographer Akash Thapa did a special performance dedicated to Ranbir and Alia. They depicted the romance between the two actors and even recreated their wedding. In a video posted by Colors TV, we see Neetu Kapoor praise their performance.

'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' is currently in its 10th season and is being judged by Madhuri Dixit, Nora Fatehi and Karan Johar.

In a video, which the Colors TV's official Instagram handle shared, we see Neetu Kapoor give a hug to Niti and Akash after their performance which made her emotional. Calling the episode 'Kapoor special', the channel shared a promo video of the upcoming episode. In the clip, we see Niti in a white-golden saree resembling Alia's look from her wedding. Niti danced to 'Khuda Jaane' from Ranbir and Deepika's first film together 'Bachna Ae Haseeno'.

In the promo clip, Neetu Kapoor is seen dressed in a pink pant-suit. Neetu blessed Niti and Akash and appreciated their performance. Meanwhile, she also shared that during the Baraat which was passing through the gallery to Alia's house, the space was so small that people were holding up their hands to give an impression that they were dancing.

Soon after the video was shared by the Colors channel, fans flooded the comments thread with appreciation and anticipation for Niti's performance. Another section of the audience did not like the performance or the fact that an entire episode was dedicated to Kapoors.

A user wrote, "Seriously Ranalia ke naam pe Ranbir aur Deepika ka gaana bhaja diya aur woh bhi itna famous wala (for a performance on Alia and Ranbir’s journey, they made Niti dance on a song which is so famous and is picturised on Ranbir and Deepika).” Another user wrote, "Matlab kyu kara jaa rha hai in Kapoors ke naam ek episode… Ranbir Alia ko itna promote kiya jaa raha hai jaise isse pehle toh kisi ki shaadi hui hi nhi (Why did they dedicate an entire episode to the Kapoor family? And why are they promoting Alia and Ranbir’s wedding like no other celebs have married before).”
