28-Year-Old Rapper Takeoff, Member Of Migos, Shot Dead In Houston
Rapper Takeoff, the third member of the hip-hop group Migos, was shot dead at a bowling alley in Houston, Texas on Tuesday, according to TMZ.
New Delhi: Rapper Takeoff, the third member of the hip-hop group Migos, was shot dead at a bowling alley in Houston, Texas on Tuesday, according to TMZ. The 28-year-old rapper, whose real name was Kirshnik Khari Ball, was shot at 2:30 AM, according to the report.
TMZ reported that he was playing a dice game when an altercation started and someone fired at him, he was reportedly shot at either in the head or near his head.
The rapper was pronounced dead at the scene while two other people were also shot and were taken to hospital. According to Fox5 report, around 50 people were present at the bowling alley at the time of the shooting.
Celebrities and fans started paying tribute to the late actor on Twitter. American Twitch streamer Adin Ross wrote, “Rest in peace to takeoff I just spoke to him too … I’m in shock right now, I can’t believe it. I pray to god it’s fake. This shit just isn’t fair bro wtf.”
Boxer Chris Eubank Jr. tweeted, “I remember @1YoungTakeoff being a very down to earth, cool dude. Cant believe I’m having to say this again about another young black star being killed for no reason, something really has to change in the industry, it’s sickening how easy & often people are dying. RIP Takeoff.”
Juice Wayne paid a heartfelt tribute and wrote, “Takeoff, man... Offset lost a brother he'll never get to fix things with. For nothing. Quavo lost his nephew. For nothing. Rap lost a good one. For nothing. All this bloodshed. For nothing. It'll never make sense. Never ever. Rest in Peace. Prayers to the family of the fallen.”
He also slammed people for filming Takeoff's uncle and fellow band member Quavo while he was mourning his nephew's death.

Takeoff was the youngest member of Migos. Offset was his cousin while Quavo was his uncle. In 2008 the trio began rapping and were called Polo Club. They changed their name to Migos in 2011.
