Puducherry Chief Minister Rangasamy cast his vote by arriving at a polling booth on a motorcycle in Delarshpet of Puducherry. The incumbent CM arrived by driving a Yamaha RX 100 with his security personnel following him. He cast his vote at 8:45 AM.

Rangasamy is known for his love for motorcycles and he frequently visits the people of his constituency consistently on his bike.
Apart from Rangasamy, former Puducherry CM Narayanasamy, BJP candidate Namassivayam and Puducherry Collector Kulothungan have cast their vote.
According to the data released by Election Commission at 9 AM, the union territory recorded 10.11% voter turnout.
