The rally, christened 'Jana Garjan Sabha' will focus on the theme of alleged withholding of the state's financial dues by the central government, a contentious issue that has dominated state politics for the past two years.
The mega rally, expected to be attended by people in huge numbers, will make a departure from the conventional dias and feature three platforms including a cross ramp, to ensure that the speakers are closer to a much larger section of the crowd.
Mamata and Abhishek Banerjee will be the key speakers during the event.
According to a Times of India report the three main stages will be connected with each other and will hold 600 leaders segregated in different sections. The main stage will be 72 feet wide and 20 feet long while the platform has been built at a height of 12 feet from the ground, the report added.
Ahead of the rally, TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee visited the Brigade Ground to review the preprations where he greeted the crowd and exchanged pleasantries, said the party in a social media post on X.
TMC's rally, which comes amid the Sandeshkhali row, has been branded as a "farwell rally" by the BJP which will be holding a public meeting in Sandeshkhali.
Bengal Assembly Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari will address a rally at the Akratala area under Nazat police station in North 24 Parganas district after receiving a nod from the Calcutta High Court.

If Congress Says TMC Didn't Wait...: TMC Leader Mukul Sangma
On TMC declaring its candidates on all 42 Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal, party leader and former Meghalaya CM Mukul Sangma says, "We have waited long enough... There was a collective intent to have a single candidate from the I,N.D.I.A. bloc to ensure that we put our strengths collectively and aggregate our strengths but that didn't happen. Now if Congress today says that TMC didn't wait and went ahead, I think they should be reminded of their delink from the ground reality..."

'TMC Bringing People From Outside': Bengal BJP Chief On Ruling Party's Candidate List
West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar says, "Just half an hour before the TMC's list was announced, Abhishek Banerjee was making statements like BJP is anti-Bengal. Now, when the candidates are announced, it's clear that TMC is bringing people from outside. I don't know if Kirti Azad and Yusuf Pathan are Bengali, Yusuf Pathan is from Gujarat, and so is PM Modi, but for them, PM Modi is an outsider... They (TMC) don't have any candidates and hence they've given the ticket to a sitting Minister. INDI alliance is nothing but a ship without a captain. It's CM Mamata Banerjee's strategy and also she is in fear that no other leader gets much importance that one can become a bigger leader than Mamata Banerjee & Abhishek Banerjee, hence they give tickets to actresses so that her nephew continues to be a politician..."
