Telangana polls: Shah to address public meeting at end of BJYM national conference
The event will be inaugurated by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and will be attended by delegates from different parts of the country.
New Delhi: BJP’s Youth wing will organsie a two-day national conference in Hyderabad from October 27 in order to increase its strength ahead of the December 7 assembly election.
The Bharataiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) chief and MP Poonam Mahajan performed ‘Bhumi Puja’ along with party MP Bandaru Dattatreya, BJP General Secretary P Muralidhar Rao and MLC N Ramachander Rao at Parade grounds on Wednesday, news agency PTI reported.
The event will be inaugurated by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and will be attended by delegates from different parts of the country. On the concluding day of the conference, a mega public meeting will be addressed by BJP president Amit Shah.
While addressing reporters, Dattatreya said that several national leaders including Union Ministers and Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states are expected to attend the convention and about two lakh people are expected to participate in it.
The event was aimed to prepare the youth workers for the 2019 general elections. BJP is going it alone in the polls.
