Telangana election 2018: "Bhagwat has said what Hindus want", says state BJP leader Krishna Saagar Rao

Rao who is the official spokesperson of the Telangana unit of the Bharatiya Janta Party said when Bhagwat demanded a law for Ram temple, he said what the Hindus of the country want.

New Delhi: Telangana BJP leader Krishna Saagar Rao has backed RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s demand of a law to pave way for construction of Ram temple at the disputed Babri Masjid site in Ayodhya. Rao who is the official spokesperson of the Telangana unit of the Bharatiya Janta Party said that Bhagwat has only reiterated what the Hindus of the country want. He said when Bhagwat demanded a law for Ram temple, he said what the Hindus of the country want. He said his party stood by its commitment to supporting and enabling Ram temple construction at Ayodhya. He was quoted saying "We are duty bound to see Ram Mandir is constructed in Ayodhya", by news agency PTI. Rao was reacting to Bhagwat’s demand on Thursday for a law to enable the construction of Ram Temple in his customary address to the cadres of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on the occasion of Dussehra As per Rao, Rao the RSS leader had all the rights to state the views of the organization that he was leading.  "In fact, he (Bhagwat) has said what Hindus of this nation want. BJP will certainly wish to wait our government's response to the RSS demand...," the news agency quoted him as saying.
