You Don't Have The Level To Speak On Rahul Gandhi: Congress MP Hits Back At Smriti Irani

Congress MP said that it is not Rahul Gandhi but Smriti Irani, who is a hypocrite. She used to roam around carrying gas cylinders on her head when the gas price was Rs 450 and now she is tight-lipped.

New Delhi: Rajya Sabha MP Imran Pratapgarhi slammed Union Minister Smriti Irani and said that you don't even have the level to speak on Rahul Gandhi. He said that it is not Rahul Gandhi but Smriti Irani, who is a hypocrite. She used to roam around carrying gas cylinders on her head when the gas price was Rs 450 and now when it is close to Rs 1200, she is sitting tight-lipped.

Congress MP further said that when the onion was Rs 10, 20 she used to hang the garland around her neck, and now she is not saying a word. He also said that BJP has come into the trap of Congress this time. We are contesting elections on real issues, BJP is trying to make this last effort of Rahul Gandhi vs Narendra Modi.

Earlier, Union Minister Smriti Irani slammed Congress MP Rahul Gandhi saying that he defines religion according to election or politics. She said that perhaps he cannot define ‘Sanatan Dharma’.  While speaking to ABP News she said, “If Rahul Gandhi had any respect for women, he would have made a woman his party’s president instead of Kharge. But he cannot give this power to anyone but his mother.

Reacting to Rahul Gandhi’s confidence regarding Gujarat and Himachal elections, she said that had Rahul Gandhi had so much faith in himself, he would not have disappeared from the Gujarat and Himachal elections.  “He is intentionally not coming here so that no one can blame him for the defeat,“ she added.

Questioning Congress’ Bharat Jodo Yatra, Irani said if anyone thinks India is divided from anywhere. She said, “Rahul Gandhi walked with those people in Karnataka whose family had supported David Headley. He hinted why he is with them.”

Reacting to Ashok Gehlot’s statement that Congress is gaining from the Bharat Jodo Yatra, she said that cow slaughtering is prohibited in Sanatan Dharma but In Madhya Pradesh, Gandhi walked with those who slaughter cows.  “This election is not about winning or losing, it is about the love of the people of Gujarat for their son Narendra Modi. Perhaps this is the first instance when the Gandhi family has separated itself from Gujarat elections,” Irani added.

Smirti Irani took on Congress for its ‘Aukat’ and ‘Ravan’ jibe at PM Modi. She said, “If the Gandhi family has such a big status, I ask them to bring their whole family to Gujarat and then they will know who has higher prestige.”

She said, “Yesterday, Ashok Gehlot was giving 3-3 deputy CMs.” She asked if it is not an attempt to divide society.  “I have a suggestion for Ashok Gehlot Ji, that first, he should see his mismanaged home where Pilot Sahab is quite angry,” she added.
