MP Election Result 2023 Live Streaming: Elections to the 230 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh were held on Nov 17 after the state witnessed intense campaigning with the ruling BJP and Congress making all attempts to woo the voters. The assembly elections in five states, including Madhya Pradesh, are being seen as the semi-final ahead of next year's Lok Sabha elections. While Congress is aiming to dethrone the BJP rule from the central state, the BJP has the challenge to hold on to MP.

Congress had won the state in 2018 but a rebel, led by Jyotiraditya Scinida, became the reason for its fall and the BJP came to power once again. Both parties have claimed to bag a record number of seats on the counting day. Madhya Pradesh recorded an overall voter turnout of 77.15 per cent, and is projected to have a close contest between BJP and Congress. However, ABP C-Voter exit suggests Congress is likely to win on 113-137 seats while BJP could be in the minority with 88-112 seats in its kitty. The magic number in MP is 116. 

All eyes are on the key players and seats like Budhni, from where CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan is fighting the polls and Chhindwara, from where the state Congress Chief and former CM Kamal Nath is contesting.
