LS Elections: Congress Names 8 Candidates From Haryana, Deepender Hooda Fielded From Rohtak
The Congress gave ticket to Varun Chaudhary from Ambala, Jai Prakash from Hisar, Divyanshu Budhiraja from Karnal, Satpal Brahmachari from Sonipat, Rao Dhan Singh from Bhiwani Mahendragarh.
New Delhi: Congress on Thursday released another list of eight candidates from Haryana for the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. The party fielded Deepender Singh Hooda from Rohtak, Kumari Selja from Sirsa, and Mahendra Pratap from Faridabad.

The party also gave ticket to Varun Chaudhary from Ambala, Jai Prakash from Hisar, Divyanshu Budhiraja from Karnal, Satpal Brahmachari from Sonipat, Rao Dhan Singh from Bhiwani Mahendragarh.
Earlier on Wednesday, the grand old party released a list of candidates for the general elections in Telangana naming contestants from Khammam, Hyderabad and Karimnagar Lok Sabha seats.
The Congress’s list comes a day ahead of the second phase of polling where 89 Lok Sabha seats across 12 states and one Union Territory.
Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Manipur, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Jammu and Kashmir will witness polling in the second phase on Friday.
On Monday, the party named seven candidates for Punjab and Bihar Lok Sabha elections.
Congress named Madan Mohan Tiwari from Paschim Champaran, Ajay Nishad from Muzaffarpur, Akash Prasad Singh from Maharajganj, Sunny Hazari from Samastipur and Manoj Kumar from Sasaram.
The party also fielded Yamini Gomar from Hoshiarpur and Amarjit Kaur Sahoke from Faridkot.

Among the nine seats it is contesting in Bihar, Congress had announced candidates for Kishanganj, Katihar and Bhagalpur, all of which will go to polls in the second phase.
On Sunday, Congress released a list of 11 Lok Sabha Candidates for Andhra Pradesh and Jharkhand.
