Kangana Ranaut In Mandi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and candidate Kangana Ranaut on Friday addressed a public meeting in Himachal Pradesh's Mandi and expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. During her address, the "queen" actor also applauded him for his developmental work.

Kangana Ranaut, who is the BJP candidate from Mandi Lok Sabha constituency, heaped praise on PM Modi saying that when Bollywood considered her an outsider and mocked her English then the saffron party, and PM Modi chose her to serve the people of Mandi and work for their welfare.

"When Bollywood considered me an outsider and mocked my English. Then, the world's biggest party, the Bharatiya Janata Party, and the world's biggest leader, PM Modi, chose me to serve the people of Mandi and work for their welfare. They chose a 'Pahadi Beti' for this work. This fills us with pride and eminence. I bow in respect before our PM Narendra Modi on behalf of all women and citizens of Himachal," Ranaut stated

Continuing her praises for the Prime Minister, the actor said that the technical and modern developmental works he has done are tremendous. "The day has arrived to work under the guidance of PM Modi. Hailing PM Modi is like showing a candle to the sun himself. The technical and modern developmental works he has done are tremendous. Now I'm too part of his team and committed to the developmental works for Mandi as a party worker," Ranaut said.

Ranaut also said that the PM has introduced many schemes for women, and his character and all the work done by him are a role model for the country. 

"PM Modi is coming to Mandi today. His character, the works he has done, his patriotism - all are a role model for the country. He has introduced many schemes for women. His resolve for  33% reservation for women has already been implemented by giving (election) ticket to this daughter. This is a matter of huge respect for the women of Himachal Pradesh..."

Highlighting PM Modi's three main agendas for Himachal, Kangana Ranaut said, "Right now, PM Modi has three main agendas for the people of Himachal, it includes roads, education and health, upon which our former CM Jairam Thakur, Gadkari Ji and various leaders have worked and achieved milestones. If elected, I'll also focus on these three agendas and modern developmental works for the constituency. I will work more than my efficiency for our people," as quoted by ANI.

Himachal Pradesh is set to vote in Lok Sabha elections in the 7th phase on June 1. The general elections are being held in seven phases across India from April 19 to June 1. The counting of votes will take place on June 4.
