'Respect My Elders': Aparna Yadav Says Won't Contest Against Dimple, Opens Up On Fight Against Priyanka Gandhi

Aparna Yadav said that the Congress has lost its support base and nobody wants to bring the grand old party in front of them.

Lok Sabha Elections: Bharatiya Janata Party leader Aparna Yadav said on Tuesday that the Congress has lost its support base and nobody wants to bring the grand old party in front of them. "I think the support base of Congress is finished. Now I think nobody wants to bring the Congress in front of them, and the kind of things that are doing the rounds—the kind of corruption that is unfolding every day—see the kind of irresponsible statements that the party is making," Aparna Yadav said while speaking to ABP News.

On being asked if she is ready to face Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi from Raebareli in case the grand old party fields her from Raebareli and if she will be able to defeat her, Yadav said, "Why not? If the party asks, I will definitely fight, and yes, I can defeat Priyanka Gandhi. Why not?"

On the question of fighting Lok Sabha polls from the Mainpuri seat and challenging Samajwadi Party leader Dimple Yadav, the BJP leader said, "I have never thought of it. I respect my elders. I have always done everything after seeking blessings from my elders. I respect Dimple Yadav a lot, and I have never seen her as a political figure. She has always been my sister-in-law.

On the BJP's claim of winning all 80 Lok Sabha seats in UP, Aparna Yadav said that no other party is in competition in the state with the saffron party.

"According to me, no other party is in competition with the Bharatiya Janata Party. You can do a local survey; the party is thinking about me, and I know that. Whatever the party does, it will only be good. I am Yadav, and I put forth things about the Yadav community. The people who are not able to understand this and are looking at a handful of people from the Yadav community are not able to listen to what I say or are not willing to understand. I am continuously going among the people," Aparna Yadav told ABP News.

"Our party is very big, and it is a national party. It is looking at everyone's work. The data and statistics of all the people go to the party, and the party knows well how much responsibility each person is taking on and how much each person can work," she further stated.

Will Accept Whatever Responsibility Party Will Give: Aparna Yadav

Aparna Yadav said that whatever responsibility the BJP will give her she will accept it. "Whatever responsibility the party gives me, I will accept it. Congress party is almost finished in Uttar Pradesh and the country...BJP will come back with a huge majority in the Lok Sabha elections," Yadav said.
