Karnataka polls: PM Modi addresses BJP youth wing via NaMo App; takes on Congress
Speaking to the party leaders Modi said, “It is the good luck of BJP that instead of people being heaped on us from above, workers started working for people from the grassroots level and stood among them for 20-25 years”.
New Delhi: With only days left Karnataka Assembly polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday addressed party’s State Youth Wing via NaMo App; where he discussed various issues like violence.
Speaking to the party leaders Modi said, “It is the good luck of BJP that instead of people being heaped on us from above, workers started working for people from the grassroots level and stood among them for 20-25 years”.
He further laid focus on creation of new opportunities if BJP comes to power. “We have a special focus on Karnataka in our manifesto. If a BJP government is formed here, 60 Namma BPO complexes will be set up here”.
“My government is creating jobs across India and opposition is upset with it” PM added.
He also said, “There is no space for violence in a democracy. When a person loses faith in himself and doesn't have strength to speak or accept the truth, he chooses the path of political violence”.
“In 1984 there was a phase of violence after Indira Gandhi's assassination. Since then it seems violence has become a part of the political system. Our workers were killed in Tripura, Kerala, and Karnataka. This doesn't suit democracy. Violence must be opposed” PM added.
