Gujarat Polls 2022: Will Release Notification Of Old Pension Scheme By January 31, Promises Kejriwal

Gujarat Election 2022: Delhi CM Kejriwal said that his party will resolve all issues of the government employees in the state if it comes to power.

AAP Chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday promised to release the notification of re-implementation of the Old Pension Scheme in Gujarat by January 31, 2023, if his party comes to power. He said that he was not making any vague promises and that notification for the old pension scheme in Punjab has already been released.

“Recently, thousands of Gujarat government workers came on streets...with only one demand that the Old Pension Scheme be implemented,” he said.

He further said, “I want to tell this to all Gujarat government workers that if our party forms government in the state, we will release the notification for implementation of OPS by 31st January 2023.”

He also appealed to police personnel, teachers, transport, and Anganwadi workers to vote for the Aam Aadmi Party. Kejriwal assured them of resolving all their issues.

CM Kejriwal claimed that the common man of Gujarat is afraid of saying that he is not voting for the BJP.

“Three things have come out very clearly so far. First, we have fought elections in many states, but Gujarat is the first state where the common man is afraid of saying that he is not voting for the BJP,” he said.

He added, “Secondly, voter of Congress is nowhere to be found, and third, a big voter base of the BJP is going to vote for the Aam Aadmi Party.”

Kejriwal accused the BJP of assaulting the people of Gujarat and said, “Do whatever you want to do with us but do not attack the people of Gujarat.”

Delhi CM claimed that the main reason for BJP’s anxiety is that if you talk to anyone who says he will vote for the BJP for five minutes, the person will later say that he will vote for AAP.

He said, “People say they are afraid of saying that they will vote for the Aam Aadmi Party.”
