‘Father Is Bihar's Lootera’: Deputy CM Samrat’s Personal Jibe At Tejashwi Draws RJD Ire, Tej Pratap Also Reacts

Bihar Assembly saw a fiery exchange between Deputy CM Choudhary and opposition leader Yadav over voter verification irregularities.

The Bihar Assembly witnessed a heated conversation between Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, with the former saying, “What will he say whose father is a criminal”. The clash between the two leaders started when Yadav raised concerns over the irregularities in the voter verification process. He even questioned the government over an FIR against a journalist who reportedly showed BLOs signing forms themselves.

Meanwhile, Samrat Choudhary hit back with a personal attack: "...What can someone say whose own father is a criminal?…”. The remark led to uproar in the assembly.

Responding to the development, suspended RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav said that the whole nation saw the way they resorted to hooliganism. He also added that Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary should use civil language; otherwise, the public will teach him a lesson.

"...The whole nation saw the way they resorted to hooliganism...Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary should use civil language, otherwise the public will teach him a lesson…,” Yadav said, as quoted by news agency PTI.

During this entire episode, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar could be seen silent. However, Tejashwi also targeted him and said that he should be cautious of the BJP leaders, as people have started saying that JDU has now become a cell of the BJP.

Later, responding to the uproar inside the Bihar Vidhan Sabha, Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary said, "It is clear that under Nitish Kumar’s leadership, the work done in Bihar has made the opposition anxious, and they are sitting ready to say anything because they cannot see the development.”

The monsoon session of the Bihar Assembly has turned into an arena of political accusations between the ruling and opposition leaders, and it is increasing day by day ahead of the polls in the state.
