MCD Polls 2022: Early Trends Suggest AAP In Lead

MCD Elections: AAP leading in early trends.

MCD Elections Delhi: Counting has begun for the Delhi MCD polls held on December 4 and the early trends show Aam Aadmi Party in the lead.

The trends show that the Aam Aadmi Party has taken an early lead and also crossed the halfway mark of 125. But the BJP is giving a tough fight to the AAP as the numbers keep fluctuating with both parties crossing the magic number of 125 at least once.

Reactions have also started pouring in on early trends. With a close fight between BJP and AAP, both parties are exuding confidence that the next Delhi mayor will be from their parties. The Bharatiya Janata Party said that it worked on cleaning the garbage in Delhi and continued doing so during the pandemic and that is why it is confident that the next mayor will be from BJP.

"We worked for the disposal of garbage & it continued even during Corona. BJP has worked. That's why we're confident that the next Mayor will be from BJP. Last time too, surveys gave only 50 seats to BJP but we won 2/3rd majority," said Delhi BJP leader Harish Khurana.
