South Delhi Lok Sabha Constituency:

The South Delhi constituency, one of the seven parliamentary segments in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, portrays a diverse blend of urban locales, upscale neighborhoods, and vibrant markets. Historically a stronghold of the BJP, the constituency witnessed a shift in power after delimitation in 2009, with the Indian National Congress clinching victory.

In 2019, AAP Raghav Chadha lost against BJP’s Ramesh Bidhuri from the South Delhi seat. In the 2014 General elections, Ramesh Bidhuri had won the seat by a margin of 1,07,000 votes.

In the upcoming polls, the stage is set for a riveting contest between the BJP's Ramvir Singh Bidhuri and the AAP's Sahi Ram Pehalwan.

West Delhi Lok Sabha Constituency:

Established in 2008 as part of the Delimitation Commission's recommendations, the West Delhi constituency encompasses a mosaic of ten legislative assembly segments. In the 2019 general elections, the BJP's Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma emerged victorious in the constituency. This time, the BJP's Kamaljeet Sehrawat squares off against the AAP's Mahabal Mishra, a former Congress leader.

Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha Constituency:

Nestled within the bustling heart of Delhi, the Chandni Chowk constituency exudes historical significance and cultural vibrancy. Since 2014, the BJP's Harsh Vardhan has represented this constituency. However, with his retirement from active politics, the BJP has fielded Praveen Khandelwal. The Congress has nominated JP Aggarwal to vie for the seat.

East Delhi Lok Sabha Constituency:

Spanning across diverse neighborhoods east of the Yamuna River, the East Delhi constituency has been represented by the BJP's Gautam Gambhir. This seat covers areas east of the Yamuna River and includes areas such as Seelampur, Shahdara, Preet Vihar, and Gandhi Nagar. The constituency is not only one of the larger ones in the capital but also densely populated.

The constituency witnesses a face-off between the AAP's Kuldeep Kumar and the BJP's Harsh Malhotra.

New Delhi Lok Sabha Constituency:

Known for its historical significance, the New Delhi constituency saw BJP's Meenakshi Lekhi clinch victory in 2014 and 2019. However, in a surprising move, the BJP has nominated Bansuri Swaraj, daughter of late Sushma Swaraj, for the upcoming elections. The AAP has fielded Somnath Bharti, setting the stage for an intriguing battle of legal luminaries.

North East Delhi Lok Sabha Constituency:

A vibrant political battleground, the North East Delhi constituency is characterised by a significant migrant population such as Purvanchalis from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Currently represented by the BJP's Manoj Tiwari, the constituency witnesses a fierce contest between him and Congress's Kanhaiya Kumar.

North West Delhi Lok Sabha Constituency:

This seat has a sizable population of Scheduled Caste community as well as Jats and Purvanchalis. Udit Raj was a BJP MP from the seat between 2014 and 2019 but left the saffron party after he was denied re-nomination and replaced by Singer Hans Raj Hans.

In the 2019 elections, the BJP's pick, Hans Raj Hans, emerged victorious in the North West Delhi constituency. This time, Udit Raj, formerly with the BJP and now contesting as a Congress candidate, faces off against the BJP's Yogendra Chandolia.

With the stage set for a dramatic electoral showdown, Delhi gears up to exercise its democratic right on May 25. The result shaping the destiny of the nation's capital will be unveiled on June 3.
