Delhi Assembly Election Results 2025: BJP Dominates As AAP Trying To Claw Back After 1 Hour Of Counting
Delhi Election Results 2025: See-Saw battle tilts in favour of BJP as it has gained a majority mark in the initial trends.
After one hour of counting, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is comfortably ahead of AAP giving some competition but the Delhi Election results going in favour of the saffron party. At 9 am, the early trends, which also include counting of postal ballots, BJP is ahead on 40 assembly seats with AAP leading on 28 seats and Congress leading on one assembly seat.
With the counting of postal ballots, BJP emerged ahead keeping a distance by double the margin. As time progressed AAP did close the gap at around 8.30 am, but BJP clawed back with a major chunk of the 70-member Delhi assembly.
In early trends, the trio of key AAP leaders are trailing—Arvind Kejriwal from the New Delhi assembly seat, Delhi CM Atishi Marlena from Kalkaji, and former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia from Jangpura.
