Congress Releases 3rd List Of 16 Candidates For Delhi Polls, Fields Ariba Khan From Okhla
The Delhi Assembly elections will be held in a single phase on February 5, and the counting of votes will be done on February 8.
Delhi Assembly Elections 2025: The Congress on Tuesday released its third list of 16 candidates for the upcoming Delhi Elections 2025. The party has fielded Ariba Khan from Okhla, Dharam Pal Lakda from Mundka, and Krishna Tirath from Patel Nagar, among others. Ishwar Bagri has been given a ticket in place of Pramod Kr Jayanti in Gokalpur.
Congress leader Rajesh Gupta has been named from Kirari, Kunwar Karan Singh from Model Town, Jagat Singh from Shahdara, Rajiv Chaudhary from Vishwas Nagar, and Vishesh Tokas R.K. Puram, among others.

Other candidates who have been named in the list include: Prem Sharma from Hari Nagar, Mange Ram from Palam, Kamal Arora from Gandhi Nagar, Harbani Kaur from Janakpuri, and Sushma Yadav from Najafgarh.
The second list of the party with 26 names was released on January 6. The party has pitted Farhad Suri against AAP leader Manish Sisodia from the Jangpura seat. Two former AAP MLAs, who joined Congress recently, were also given tickets. While Asim Khan will contest from Matia Mahal, Devender Sehrawat will contest from Bijwasan.
The Congress is contesting the Delhi polls independently on all 70 seats. "We will contest all 70 seats. Our leader is elected after we win. The same procedure will be adopted in Delhi. There is no alliance," Delhi Congress chief Devender Yadav had said.
Congress has fielded Sandeep Dikshit against former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal on the New Delhi seat. It has also named Alka Lamba to go against Delhi CM Atishi in the Kalkaji Assembly constituency. Meanwhile, Congress candidate Satish Luthra will contest against Satyendra Jain in the Shakur Basti constituency, where the latter has been winning for the last three Assembly polls.
