The Congress leader happens to be here as the Bharat Jodo Yatra of the party took a one-day break in Maharashtra on Sunday and it will proceed from Kalamnuri in Hingoli district to Washim on Monday.
Earlier on Saturday night, the sixth day of the yatra in Maharashtra, Rahul Gandhi addressed a public gathering in Kalamnuri and said the message of the foot march led by him was that India cannot be divided and hatred would not be allowed to be spread.
The Congress leader also targeted the state and Central governments over the shifting of mega projects like the Vedanta-Foxconn and the Tata Airbus from Maharashtra to poll-bound Gujarat.
Videos and photos of Rahul Gandhi talking to people and participating in different activities from the Bharat Jodo Yatra keep emerging on social media. A few days back he was seen performing Kommu dance with tribal community and Dhimsa, a traditional folk dance of communities of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and southern Odisha.
He has earlier shared a video in which he could be seen bowling to a boy, wearing the Indian cricket jersey, in Telangana. “Well played,” Rahul Gandhi said after he signed the young cricketer’s bat.
You see, what donning the India jersey does to you - makes you unbeatable 😊❤️
