Voting is underway for Mizoram's 40-seat assembly and 20 constituencies of Chhattisgarh's 90-seat assembly.
Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga exuded confidence amid polling and said there will be no hung Assembly as his party, Mizo National Front (MNF) will sweep more seats than the 21-majority mark. He added that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is not an alliance partner in the state and that MNF supports the ruling National Democratic Alliance only at the Centre.
