Rs 12,000 Monthly Aid For Women, Gas Connections At Rs 500 — BJP Manifesto For Chhattisgarh Polls

Chhattisgarh will vote in two stages on November 7 and 17, with the results being announced on December 3.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah released the Bharatiya Janata Party's platform for the Chhattisgarh assembly elections in Raipur on Friday. Speaking at the ceremony, Shah stated: "Religious conversion on rise in Chhattisgarh under Cong rule; state machinery being used to convert poor tribals."

On releasing manifesto for Chhattisgarh elections in Raipur, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said: "We have prepared a manifesto "Modi's Guarantee" after discussing with lakhs of people. In this, we have decided that we will start Krishi Unnati Yojana under which we will buy 21 quintals/acre of paddy at the price of Rs 3,100. Its lump sum payment will be made to the farmers."

Slamming the state government, Amit Shah said: "Bhupesh Baghel has no equal in the entire country in spreading false propaganda. By creating an environment, he formed the government here for 5 years. But in this he only committed scams."

"In the last 5 years, the Bhupesh Baghel government proved to be a failure in terms of law and order. He had made more than 300 promises, which were not fulfilled," he further stated.

"Fifteen years of Raman Singh's tenure made Chhattisgarh a better state from a 'Bimaru' state. Now, we want to assure the people of the state that we will make it completely developed in next five years," Shah said.

"Despite facing many hurdles in the first 10 years," Amit Shah stated, adding that BJP worked for the development of Chhattisgarh. "The BJP government did the work of freeing many inaccessible areas of Chhattisgarh from the havoc of Naxalism. BJP also did the work of developing the infrastructure of Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh became the first state in the country to guarantee nutrition," he further said.
