BJP Releases First List Of Candidates For Delhi Elections, Fields Parvesh Verma Against Kejriwal

BJP has fielded Dushyant Gautam from Karol Bagh, Manjinder Singh Sirsa from Rajouri Garden, Kailash Gehlot from Bijwasan, Arvinder Singh Lovely from Gandhi Nagar.

Delhi Elections 2025: BJP has released the first list of 29 candidates for the upcoming Delhi elections. The party has fielded Parvesh Verma from the New Delhi assembly seat against AAP's Arvind Kejriwal. Senior Congress leader and former CM Sheila Dixit's son Sandeep Dixit will also contest for the seat.

Former Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot, who switched to BJP from AAP last month, has been given a ticket from the Bijwasan Assembly seat. He will take on AAP's Surender Bharadwaj.

BJP has fielded Dushyant Gautam from Karol Bagh, Manjinder Singh Sirsa from Rajouri Garden, Kailash Gehlot from Bijwasan, Arvinder Singh Lovely from Gandhi Nagar.

BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri will take on Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and Congress's Alka Lamba in the Kalkaji seat.  

After being fielded from Karol Bagh, Dushyant Gautam thanked the party for the opportunity. "I think that the people's inclination is towards the BJP... Dalits are now with the BJP - due to the respect that PM Modi and our party have given to Dr BR Ambedkar, BJP will form the govt in Delhi," he said.
