Final Election Results: Know How Many Seats Were Won By Each Party All Five States

It is for the first time in 21 years that any party has been elected for its second consecutive term in Uttarakhand.

Assembly Election Result 2022: The BJP has created history after its sweeping victory in Uttar Pradesh, the country's most populous state. The BJP is also going to form a government in the neighbouring state Uttarakhand along with Goa and Manipur. It is for the first time in 21 years that any party has been elected for its second consecutive term in Uttarakhand.

Meanwhile, Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party made a landslide victory in Punjab with a three-fourth majority. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has made a significant presence at a national level in the opposition camp ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections with its remarkable performance in Punjab.

The Congress regime is now limited only to Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. The Congress not only suffered a disappointing defeat in Punjab, but Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, the party's state unit chief Navjot Singh Sidhu, also failed to save their seat. Despite the vigorous campaigning by the Gandhi siblings, Rahul and Priyanka, the party could win only two seats in Uttar Pradesh.

In the 70-member state assembly, the BJP has won 47 seats. However, the outgoing Chief Minister of the state, Pushkar Singh Dhami, lost in Khatima. In the 60-member Manipur assembly, the BJP has won 32 seats. The Congress could win only five seats.
