Puducherry: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, R. Radhakrishnan from All India N.R. Congress (AINRC) won the elections by a margin of 60854 votes. The polling / voting in Puducherry constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 2 on 18 April. The major contest is between All India N.R. Congress#s K. Narayanasamy and Congress Party#s V. Vaithilingam

Puducherry 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, won out of the parliamentary seat with percent vote share while the managed to win just seats with a percent vote share.

Voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Puducherry Lok Sabha Lok Sabha constituency. The total voter turnout was 82.10% Lok Sabha percent with 81.32% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Meanwhile, 82.81% Lok Sabha percent of the women voters cast their votes and 22268 Lok Sabha voters pressed on the NOTA

Out of the 30 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Puducherry, 27 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of R. Radhakrishnan of the All India N.R. Congress as he defeated V. Narayanasamy by a margin of 60854 votes.

मुजफ्फरनगर से बीजेपी प्रत्याशी संजीव बालियान ने धर्म के आधार पर फर्जी वोटिंग का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने कहा, 'ये मेरा गंभीर आरोप है, गंभीर सवाल है। धर्म विशेष की महिलाओं के चेहरे आई कार्ड से नहीं मिलाए जा रहे हैं। मैं 50 बूथ पर खुद देखकर आया हूं। कहीं भी फोटो से चेहरा नहीं मिलाया जा रहा है। जहां भी ये हो रहा है वहां वोटिंग परसेंटेज हाई है। सिस्टम में कुछ न कुछ बहुत बड़ी गड़बड़ है।' हालांकि चुनाव आयोग ने बालियान के आरोप का खंडन किया है।वेंकटेश्वर लू ने कहा इस तरह का बयान भ्रम फैलाने वाला है, इसमें कोई सचाई नहीं है।

नोएडा में मतदान के दौरान पोलिंग बूथ के बाहर कथित तौर पर 'नमो फूड' के पैकेट बांटने का मामला सामने आया है। चुनाव आयोग ने मामले का संज्ञान लिया है। इस बाबत जिला अधिकारी से रिपोर्ट मांगी गई है।
