Nilgiris: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Gopalakrishnan, C. from All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (ADMK) won the elections by a margin of 104940 votes. The polling / voting in Nilgiris constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 2 on 18 April. The major contest is between All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam#s M. Congress President Rahul Gandhi will file his nomination on April 10, from Amethi for the Lok Sabha election, while UPA chief Sonia Gandhi will file her nomination from Raebareli on April 11; Priyanka Gandhi is also expected to join them, sources revealed on Thursday.
