Kozhikode: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, M .K Raghavan from Indian National Congress (INC) won the elections by a margin of 16883 votes. The polling / voting in Kozhikode constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 3 on 23 April. The major contest is between Communist Party of India (Marxist)#s A. Pradeep Kumar and Congress Party#s M.k. Raghavan
Kozhikode 2014 Lok Sabha PollsIn the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Indian National Congress won 8 out of the 20 parliamentary seat with 31.1 percent vote share while the Communist Party of India (Marxist) managed to win just 5 seats with a 21.6 percent vote share.

- 1957 Lok Sabha Elections: In Second Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated IND candidate with a difference of 13942 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Kuttikrishnan Nair attained 103492 votes and IND candidate Seethi Sahib Kottapurath bagged 89550 votes
- 1951 Lok Sabha Elections: In India's Very First Lok Sabha Polls, KMPP candidate defeated INC candidate with a difference of 27454 votes. Here, KMPP leader Achuthan Damodaran Menon attained 104466 votes and INC candidate Ummar Koya, Parappil bagged 77012 votes
