The voting in Kirari constituency in the 2020 Assembly Elections took place on 8th February. Rituraj Jha is contesting on Aam Aadmi Party ticket, Anil Jha is contesting on Bharatiya Janata Party ticket and Riyazuddin Khan - RJD is Congress Party candidate. Voting in Kirari Assembly was held on 8 February in which 63.2% voters exercised their vote.  2008 Assembly Elections: In Fifth Assembly election, interesting battle was seen seen between BJP and NCP here BJP candidate defeated his NCP counterpart with a difference of 9524 votes.
 2013 Assembly Elections: In 6th Assembly election, BJP candidate defeated AAP candidate with a difference of 48526 votes. Here, BJP leader Anil Jha attained 72283 votes and AAP candidate Rajan Prakash bagged 23757 votes
