- 1993 Assembly Elections:In 2nd Assembly election, interesting battle was seen seen between BJP and INC here BJP candidate defeated his INC counterpart with a difference of 7773 votes.
- 1998 Assembly Elections:In third Assembly election, INC candidate defeated BJP candidate with a difference of 10420 votes. Here, INC leader Bheeshm Sharma attained 25014 votes and BJP candidate Sarvesh Sharma bagged 14594 votes.
- 2003 Assembly Elections:In 4th Assembly election, INC candidate defeated BSP candidate with a difference of 13608 votes. Here, INC leader Bheeshma Sharma attained 26785 votes and BSP candidate Rohtash Kumar bagged 13177 votes.
- 2008 Assembly Elections:In 5th Assembly election, interesting battle was seen seen between BJP and INC; here BJP candidate defeated his INC counterpart with a difference of 580 votes.
- 2013 Assembly Elections: In 6th Assembly election, BJP candidate defeated INC candidate with a difference of 11932 votes. Here, BJP leader Sahab Singh Chauhan attained 47531 votes and INC candidate Bhisham Sharma bagged 35599 votes.
