Dharwad: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Pralhad Joshi from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 113657 votes. The polling / voting in Dharwad constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 3 on 23 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s PralhadVenkatesh Joshi and Congress Party#s Vinay kulkarni

Dharwad 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 17 out of the 28 parliamentary seat with 43 percent vote share while the Indian National Congress managed to win just 9 seats with a 40.8 percent vote share.

  • 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, LS candidate had defeated Indian National Congress candidate by a margin of 86962 votes LS candidate B.M.Menasinakai had got 328333 while INC got Prof. I.G.Sanadi votes.
