Delhi Election 2020 Results: Confident Of AAP's Triumph, Kejriwal Asks Party Volunteers Not To Burst Crackers In Victory Celebrations

Delhi Election Results 2020: Preparations are already underway at Aam Aadmi Party headquarters to celebrate victory in the polls, even as counting of votes is yet to begin

Delhi Election Results 2020: Confident of Aam Aadmi Party’s sweep in the Delhi assembly elections 2020, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, on Monday, asked his party volunteers not to burst firecrackers during victory celebrations to prevent air pollution. Preparations are already underway at Aam Aadmi Party headquarters to celebrate victory in the polls, even as counting of votes is yet to begin, reports said. Other preparations to celebrate the victory, including ordering sweets and namkeens, are also underway at the party headquarters in ITO. Reducing air pollution is one of the main guarantees given by AAP in both the party's manifesto as well as in guarantee card. Exit polls have predicted that the ruling Aam Aadmi Party is all set to return to power in Delhi. While some exit polls suggest the BJP, which has been out of power in Delhi for two decades, is likely to gain ground, it is far away from the majority mark. The exit polls suggest the AAP seems to have quite a lot of takers across demography, income groups and religion. However, the BJP leaders have maintained that the surveys will fall flat. In the 2015 assembly polls, AAP has a  landslide victory when it had bagged 67 seats and reducing the BJP to three. Congress had drawn a blank. The counting of votes polled in the high-stakes elections is set to begin at 8 am on Tuesday.
