Daman and Diu: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Patel Lalubhai Babubhai from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 9222 votes. The polling / voting in Daman and Diu constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 3 on 23 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Lalubhai Patel and Congress Party#s Ketan patel

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, won out of the parliamentary seat with percent vote share while the managed to win just seats with a percent vote share.

Voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Daman and Diu Lok Sabha Lok Sabha constituency. The total voter turnout was 78.01% Lok Sabha percent with 74.33% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Meanwhile, 81.83% Lok Sabha percent of the women voters cast their votes and 1316 Lok Sabha voters pressed on the NOTA

Out of the 4 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Daman and Diu, 2 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Patel Lalubhai Babubhai of the Bharatiya Janta Party as he defeated Ketan Dahyabhai Patel by a margin of 9222 votes.

• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Bharatiya Janta Party and Independent here Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated his Independent counterpart with a difference of 1236 votes.
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Indian National Congress and Bharatiya Janta Party here Indian National Congress candidate defeated his Bharatiya Janta Party counterpart with a difference of 4931 votes.
• 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Bharatiya Janta Party and Independent here Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated his Independent counterpart with a difference of 2287 votes.
• 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Independent and Indian National Congress here Independent candidate defeated his Indian National Congress counterpart with a difference of 1840 votes.
• 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Indian National Congress and Independent here Indian National Congress candidate defeated his Independent counterpart with a difference of 7724 votes.
