Background

Buldhana: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Jadhav Prataprao Ganpatrao from Shiv Sena (SHS) won the elections by a margin of 159579 votes. The polling / voting in Buldhana constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 2 on 18 April. The major contest is between Shiv Sena#s Prataprao Ganpatrao Jadhav and Nationalist Congress Party#s Rajendra Shingane

Buldhana 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 23 out of the 48 parliamentary seat with 27.3 percent vote share while the Shiv Sena managed to win just 18 seats with a 20.6 percent vote share.

The total voter turnout was 61.31% Lok Sabha percent with 63.39% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Meanwhile, 58.96% Lok Sabha percent of the women voters cast their votes and 10546 Lok Sabha voters pressed on the NOTA

Out of the 17 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Buldhana, 15 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Jadhav Prataprao Ganpatrao of the Shiv Sena as he defeated Ingle Krushanarao Ganpatrao by a margin of 159579 votes.

  • 2004 Lok Sabha Elections: In 14th Lok Sabha election, Shiv Sena candidate had defeated Indian National Congress candidate by a margin of 59907 votes SHS candidate Adsul Anandrao Vithoba had got 369975 while INC got Mukul Balkrushna Wasnik votes.
  • 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, Shiv Sena candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 45007 votes. Here, Shiv Sena leader Adsul Anandrao Vithoba attained 294922 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Wasnik Mukul Balkrushna bagged 249915 votes
  • 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated Shiv Sena candidate by a margin of 53557 votes INC candidate Wasnik Mukul Balkrushna had got 348094 while SHS got Adsul Anandrao Vithoba votes.
  • 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Shiv Sena candidate had defeated Indian National Congress candidate by a margin of 69431 votes SHS candidate Adsul Anandrao Vithoba had got 281953 while INC got Wasnik Mukul Balkrishna votes.
  • 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate with a difference of 37091 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Wasnik Mukul Balkrishna attained 213495 votes and Bharatiya Janta Party candidate P.G. Gawai bagged 176404 votes
  • 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate had defeated Indian National Congress candidate by a margin of 65994 votes BJP candidate Kale Sukhdeo Nandaji had got 297984 while INC got Wasnik Mukul Balkrishna votes.
  • 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated ICS candidate with a difference of 48058 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Wasnik Mukul Balkrishna attained 166281 votes and ICS candidate Kale Sukhdev Nandji bagged 118223 votes
  • 1980 Lok Sabha Elections: In 7th Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated Indian National Congress candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC(I) candidate Wasnik Balkrishna Ramchandra attained 175800 votes and INC(U)'s Datta Gangaram Hiwale bagged 62704 votes.
  • 1977 Lok Sabha Elections: In Sixth Lok Sabha election, RPK candidate defeated RPI candidate with a difference of 42855 votes. Here, RPK leader Gawai Daulat Gunaji attained 183460 votes and RPI candidate Jadhao Gopalrao Sakharam bagged 140605 votes
  • 1971 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fifth Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated BJS candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Yadav Shivram Mahajan attained 206180 votes and BJS's Uttamrao Laxman Patil bagged 92457 votes.
  • 1967 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fourth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated BJS candidate by a margin of 94904 votes INC candidate S. R. Rane had got 172178 while BJS got K. N. Sancheti votes.
  • 1962 Lok Sabha Elections: In Third Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated PWP candidate by a margin of 82179 votes INC candidate Shivaram Rango Rane had got 153490 while PWP got Sonu Ananda Pandit votes.
  • 1957 Lok Sabha Elections: In Second Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated BJS candidate by a margin of 53236 votes INC candidate Rane Shioram Rango had got 131914 while BJS got Bahekar Keshavrao Jaywantrao votes.

देश के 5 उत्तरी राज्यों पंजाब, हरियाणा, उत्तराखंड, जम्मू-कश्मीर और हिमाचल प्रदेश में कराए गए सर्वे के मुताबिक मिलीजुली तस्वीर सामने आ रही है. जहां हिमाचल में बीजेपी क्लीन स्वीप करती दिख रही है तो पंजाब में कांग्रेस 13 में से 9 सीटों पर कब्जा कर सकती है. हरियाणा में बीजेपी को 10 में से 8 सीटें मिलने की उम्मीद बन रही है तो उत्तराखंड की पांच सीटों में से चार पर बीजेपी का दबदबा बनता दिख रहा है. जम्मू-कश्मीर को देखें तो नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस को 3 सीटें, बीजेपी को 2 सीटें और कांग्रेस को 1 सीट पर जीत मिलने की उम्मीद बनती दिख रही है.

स्थानीय पत्रकारों के बीच जम्मू-कश्मीर की 6 लोकसभा सीटों पर कराए गए सर्वे के मुताबिक अगर अभी चुनाव होते हैं तो वहां नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस 3 सीटों पर जीत हासिल कर सकती है. इसके अलावा बीजेपी को 2 सीटों पर जीत मिल सकती है. वहीं कांग्रेस को राज्य की 6 में से 1 सीट पर कब्जा मिल सकता है.

लोकसभा चुनाव से पहले एबीपी न्यूज़ ने जनता की नब्ज टटोलने के लिए हिमाचल प्रदेश, उत्तराखंड और जम्मू-कश्मीर की हर लोकसभा सीट का सर्वे किया है. इस सर्वे के मुताबिक बीजेपी हिमाचल और उत्तराखंड में कांग्रेस पर भारी पड़ेगी. वहीं, जम्मू-कश्मीर में नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस पार्टी सबसे ज्यादा 3 सीटें जीतती दिख रही है.
