Balaghat: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bodhsingh Bhagat from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 96041 votes. The polling / voting in Balaghat constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 4 on 29 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Dhal Singh Bisen and Congress Party#s Madhu bhagat
