UPSC Civil Services 2023 Registration Ends Today, Know How To Fill Application Form

UPSC CSE Prelims 2023 Registration: The application form is available on the official website – upsc.gov.in.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will close the application process for the civil services examination today, February 21, 2023. Candidates who are yet to apply for the CSE 2023 can fill the application form on the official website of UPSC – upsc.gov.in. UPSC will accept the applications till 6:00 PM. 

Through the recruitment process, UPSC will fill out 1,105 vacancies. As per the schedule, the UPSC prelims examination will be conducted on May 28, 2023 at various centres across the country.

Educational Qualification:

A candidate must hold a Graduate degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions.

Age Limit:

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on the 1st of August, 2023 i.e., the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1991 and not later than 1st August, 2002. There is a relaxation of the upper age limit for candidates belonging from the reserved category. Check the notification for more details on eligibility criteria.

Application Fee:

Candidates (Except Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of State Bank of India by cash or by using Net Banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/RuPay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment.

UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023: Steps To Apply

Interested candidates can fill the application form through these steps: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC upsconline.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the link that reads, "One-time registration (OTR) for examinations of UPSC and online application."

Step 3: Now click on 'New Registration'

Step 4: Fill the details and register.

Step 4: Now log in and fill the application form.

Step 5: Upload the documents.

Step 6: Pay the application fee.

Step 7: Submit the application form and download the confirmation page.
