UPPSC PCS Main Exam schedule released on uppsc.nic.in exams; begin from June 17

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the examination schedule of the Provincial Civil Services (PCS-Mains)- 2018 exam on its official website – uppsc.nic.in.

UPPSC PCS Main Exam Schedule 2018: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the examination schedule of the Provincial Civil Services (PCS-Mains)- 2018 exam on its official website – uppsc.nic.in. The PCS (Mains)-2018 exams for UPPSC Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (M) Exam-2018 will begin from 17th June 2019 and will end on 21st June 2019 at Prayagraj and Lucknow. The examination will be held in two sessions i.e. from 9.30 am to 12:30 pm (first shift) and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (second shift). UPPSC Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Mains 2018 - Exam Schedule: According to the official notification, the exam schedule for various subjects is as follows- 17th June 2019 – General Hindi (first shift) and Essay writing (second shift) 18th June 2019 – General Studies (GS)-1 (first shift) and General Studies (GS)-2 (second shift) 19th June 2019 – General Studies (GS)-3 (first shift) and General Studies (GS)-4 (second shift) 21st June 2019 – Optional subject paper- 1 (first shift) and optional subject paper-2 (second shift) A total of 150 marks each will be allotted for General Hindi and Essay section. The General Studies section will be of total 800 marks, 200 marks each for four papers. The Optional Paper-1 and Optional Paper-2 will amount to a total of 400 marks, 200 marks for each paper. The PCS (Mains)-2018 will be conducted as per the revised syllabus and exam pattern. Furthermore, in a first, the examination will be completed in just four days in contrast to the earlier examinations which used to take place in a span of 18 to 20 days.
