Union Education Minister Pokhriyal Discharged From AIIMS

He was battling with post-covid-19 complications and was admitted to the hospital on June 1, 2021.

New Delhi: Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has been discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. He was battling with post-covid-19 complications and was admitted to the hospital on June 1, 2021.

According to the earlier inputs, the 61-year-old minister had tested positive on April 21 and later resumed office post his recovery from the virus. However, the minister started developing certain complications again, after which he was admitted to the hospital. 

"This is to inform you all that I have tested Covid positive. I am taking medication and treatment as per the advice of my doctors. I request all those who have come in my contact recently to get themselves tested," the minister had said earlier while revealing that he was infected with the covid-19.
