SSTRB aims to fill a total of 249 vacancies for the post of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT). The Application forms were scheduled to be made available from yesterday i.e. 11^th February 2019 onwards at the office of SSRTB, Upper Syari, Gangtok. Interested candidates can procure the same and send their duly filled applications on or before 8^th March 2019, 3:30 p.m., at the SSTRB office. Vacancy Details: English - 30 Posts Political Science - 17 Posts History - 17 Posts Geography - 23 Posts Economics - 19 Posts Sociology -09 Posts Hindi -22 Posts Nepali -21 Posts Commerce - 16 Post Physics -24 Posts Chemistry -15 Posts Maths - 19 Posts Biology -17 Posts Important Dates: Offline application forms available from – 11^th February 2019 Last date of receipt of the application forms – 08^th March 2019, 03:30 p.m. Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must possess a Post Graduate degree in the particular subject with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST & OBC) from a recognized University and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Candidates must read through the official advertisement to ascertain their eligibility before applying. Official Advertisement for SSTRB Recruitment 2019: 249 PGT Jobs Age-Limit: The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 21 to 40 years in  terms of Notification No. M(3)(55)/DOP/PT-III, dated: 03.07.2017. Selection Process: The candidates will be selected through a Written examination which will comprise of Paper I - General English, General Knowledge & Teaching Aptitude (MCQ), and Paper II – Main Subject (Subjective), followed by Classroom Demonstration and Viva-voce. Pay Scale: The selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Level 15, Cell 1 of Pay matrix of  SGS  (Revised Pay) Rules, 2018. How to apply for SSTRB Recruitment 2019?
