SSC CHSL 2018: Short notice out in Employment News, notification on March 5
SSC is tentatively scheduled to organize the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2018 from 1st to 26th July 2019, this year.

SSC CHSL 2018: Short notice has been released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in this week’s Employment News, as per which, the official Information Bulletin will be released on the official website of SSC on Tuesday, 5th March 2019. SSC is tentatively scheduled to organize the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2018 from 1st to 26th July 2019, this year.
In the short notice issued by SSC for CHSL 2018, the minimum eligibility criteria for the post of Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India is 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Education Board or University. For all other posts like Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA), Court Clerk (CC), etc, the candidate must have passed Class 12th or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
As per the examination calendar shared by the Staff Selection Commission for the year 2019, the last date to submit online applications for SSC CHSL 2018 is 5th April 2019. SSC will release the detailed notification on its official website – ssc.nic.in, on 5th March 2019, and interested candidates must read through the same to know the eligibility criteria, age-limit, age-relaxation, reservation criteria, and other important details related to Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2018. Staff Selection Commission will also list down the examination scheme for CHSL (10+2) Exam 2018 in the official notification.
The selection process for SSC CHSL (10+2) Examination includes Computer Based Examination (Tier I), Descriptive Paper (Tier II) and Typing Test/ Skill Test (Tier III). Candidates are shortlisted for Tier III exam on the basis of their marks in Tier I and Tier II examination, subject to scoring a minimum 33% in Tier II exam. Tier III exam is of qualifying nature only and those who qualify are called for Document Verification process.
