SBI Clerk Recruitment 2021: The State Bank of India (SBI) on Monday postponed the SBI clerk preliminary recruitment examination 2021 for Junior Associate posts. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in view of the covid-19 pandemic and a notice regarding this decision has been uploaded on the official website of SBI at sbi.co.in. 

The SBI clerk recruitment examination was scheduled to be conducted in June 2021. "In view of the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Preliminary Examination scheduled to be
held in June 2021 has been deferred till further notice," reads the official notice. 

The fresh schedule for the SBI Clerk recruitment exam 2021 is expected to be announced only after the conditions become conducive to conduct the examination. 

The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 5237 vacancies.  The SBI clerk main examination was tentatively scheduled to be held on July 30, 2021. However, according to the notice, it is also expected to be deferred. 

The online registration process for the SBI clerk recruitment began on  April 27, 2021. The last date to apply for the SBI clerk recruitment was May 27, 2021.
