SAIL Recruitment 2019: The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has notified 72 vacancies for the posts of Overman, Mining Sirdar and Surveyor at sail.co.in. Candidates must possess the requisite Diploma/Certificate in relevant field along with one year post qualification experience as on 10^th March 2019. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their online applications from 14^th February onwards at the official website of SAIL – sail.co.in on or before 10^th March 2019. Vacancy Details: Overman: 19 Posts Mining Sirdar: 52 Posts Surveyor: 01 Post Important Dates: Online application submission begins – 14^th February 2019 Online application submission ends – 10^th March 2019 Eligibility Criteria: Overman: The candidate must be a matriculate and must possess 3 years Diploma in Mining Engineering from a Govt. recognised Institute with minimum 50% aggregate marks (40% aggregate marks for SC/ST/Departmental candidates) with Overmanship Certificate of Competency from DGMS, along with valid Gas Testing & First Aid Certificate. Mining Sirdar The candidate must be a matriculate and must possess a valid Mining Sirdar’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS under CMR (for Coal Mines), along with valid Gas Testing & First-Aid Certificate. Surveyor The candidate must be a matriculate and must possess 03 years full time Diploma in Mining & Mine’s Survey from a Govt. recognized Institute with minimum 50% aggregate marks (40% aggregate marks for SC/ST/Departmental candidates) with Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency. Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement. Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of a written test to be held in Ranchi. The candidates who clear the written test will be invited to appear for the Skill Test / Trade Test. Weightage for selection would be 100% based on the marks obtained in the written examination while the Skill Test / Trade Test will be of qualifying nature only. Application Fee: General/ OBC candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs. 250. SC/ST/ESM/Departmental candidates are exempted from paying the Application Fee.
