The Railway Recruitment Cell North Western Railways, Gorakhpur had invited applications to fill 745 slots for various apprentice trades. RRC NER had released a merit list for Apprentice recruitment 2018 on 28^th January 2019, earlier this week, however, the Railway Recruitment Cell has now released a revised merit list for the Apprentice Recruitment 2018-19 citing the earlier merit list as ‘erroneous’. “The list published on 28.01.2019 at the website was erroneous and hence, has been cancelled. The corrected list is being published herewith” stated a note on the revised merit list pdf. The revised merit list carries the names and enrolment numbers of the shortlisted candidates along with the trade and unit allotted to them. RRC the North Western Railways, Gorakhpur has also stated the date of reporting for the shortlisted candidates. “If a candidate fails to report on the prescribed date, it shall be assumed his/her unwillingness for the training and other candidate will be selected in his/her place as per merit order,” read an important note, thereby candidates who wish to pursue apprenticeship at North Western Railways, Gorakhpur must report at the allotted division on the allotted date.
